Sukhothai adventure!

After an early start, we yet again managed to get to the bus stop ok but then proceeded to wait on the wrong side of the road. This resulted in us missing the direct bus to Sukhothai and, although the guide book says the buses are half hourly, the next bus wasn't for another hour and a half!! - we seriously considered turning back to go back to bed at this point. Luckily enough we didnt.

Once we got to Old Sukhothai we rented bikes (kind of reminding us of Germany) and cycled around what is known as the "old city". It was pretty spectacular!! It was also very, very hot and we hadnt had anything to eat or drink so after cycling for 2 hours in the sun we needed a very long break.
