Got woken up at the crack of dawn by the guy next door howking his guts up.... he obviously either has TB or bird flu - mind you wasn't too bad as we needed to get the Thai train upto Phitsanulok at 8am.
Arrived at train station far too early and had to eat lots of cakes to pass the time. Train left on time (take note scot rail not one delayed journey yet!) and was pleasantly surprised to be served a breakfast of cakes and a lunch of curry type stuff which was all very good.
Found a dinky hotel to stay in which is 100Bhat a night (rougly a pound fifty) which is really clean although it only has squat toilets which I have been slowly getting used to over the last two months.
Went for a walk round the city and stumbled across "the centre of conservative folk cock" (see pictures). Amy very taken with the title. Went to the Buddha moulding place and bought postcards cause felt guilty that it was free. Went to some other shit museum and didn't buy postcards cause was given them free with the entry fee.
Off to the night bazaar later to catch the famous local dish "flying vegetables" whatever that may be.
