As we all know Blue Mountains are not really mountains. Blue colour comes from the eucalyptus leaves. Our tour guide Mark, turned out to be really funny local guy, who provided us with heaps information about the area.
First stop - Featherdale Wildlife Park. Koalas & kangaroos running all over the place :) Good stuff! Everybody could have touched them.
Then Wentworth Falls. Took a walk down the stairs to get a better view. Visited Leura, small town, but very nice indeed. They had pretty cool candy shop & a bench with a sign: FOR THE BORED HUSBANDS
Good one ;)
Then Echo Point overlooking Three Sisters. Breathtaking views!!
We caught The Steepest World's Railway from Katoomba. Nice ride! Had a walk through rainforest, which smelled really beautiful... Had a look at Katoomba Coal Mine from 1878.
Came back on the train, which gave us good oportunity to have one last look over the mountains.
Quick stop @ Olympic Park on the way back to the city. It makes an immpression. LOL
Caught a boat back to Circular Quay. It was pretty nice day, but am sooo tired folks...
