Koalas and 20 seconds of fame

I finally made it to Taronga Zoo this week. I've been told by so many people since I got here, how lovely it is and that I must go... and its only taken me 5 months to get there! There are really beautiful views of the city from the zoo and yet again, the weather was perfect. Autumn is definitely proving to be the better season for consistently good weather. The highlight for me would have to be seeing koalas (my first since I got to Australia). Obviously it would be even better to see them in the wild, but at the zoo will do for now!
This week myself and my current housemates managed to get a night out together and went to the Sydney restaurant from the TV program My Restauarant Rules. The food was pretty tasty but the service wasn't quite so good. We all got quite tipsy and had a really good night. AND we made it onto TV!!! Only for about 20 seconds but thats not the point!
