...in Puerto Iguazu. The hostel we first try has no kitchen, and we end up in the campsite on the outskirts of town called El Viejo Americano (recommended). It has a swimming pool, shop, reasonable toilets, hot water and plenty of space. Aparently in high season around 1,200 people cram into the site, and the pool, which looked full to me already, must be a rugby scrum. But by the heavens above, you need the pool in the heat here! It has rainforest humidity, and when we were then was over 35 deg C. Thankfully we´ve been training up for the heat here slowly.
We turned down an air-conditioned room in the hostel, but after a few hours of furious sweating we are starting to wonder if the sounds of cicadas and moths makes up for the bodily fluids loss.
