San Diego

Text written in: English

On to San Diego and the first afternoon was spent on Coronado Beach, a typical ‘Baywatch' beach. American football and sunbathing were the only things on the agenda. The city has a very comfortable climate, which makes it one of the most desirable cities to live in, in America.

Our first full day in Diego was spent at Sea World. We went on the water rapids and the log flume, but also visited the star of the show - Shamu. Shamu and his pals are killer whales and put on a show that is pretty amazing when you look at the size of them. Full somersaults clear out of the water are no problem and of course being a water show, the first 16 rows in the arena get absolutely soaked!!!

Our final day in the city consisted of being a proper tourist and taking a hop-on, hop-off bus to see the sights. In the evening we went out for a meal in Mission Beach. It has a few hippies, preachers and a nice chilled out, party atmosphere.
