A pause in England

After the night in Le Touquet and a bit of shopping for French groceries in the morning it was time to head for England.

Julian and I both spent some time brushing the frost off the wings of our aircraft before we were ready to set off.

I headed straight out over the Channel on the short hop direct to Lydd to clear Customs and visit my friends there.

After that I headed up around London, passing the east and then the north of the city before continuing on to Northampton and Oliver's farm strip.

After securing the aircraft there Oliver dropped me at the station and I headed home to London - yet another of the many train journeys involved in this ferry flight!
