Onwards at last!

After an unplanned delay of six weeks, mainly due to the seemingly-permanent winter fog over eastern France and the German border, I returned to Troyes and was finally able to get the aircraft on its way again.

Even then, it was not possible to go east because of poor visibility and low cloud, so I elected to take the CT north to England where at least it would be easier for me to get to at short notice when a gap in the weather appeared.

I did the easy flight up to Le Touquet on Saturday, enjoying bright winter sunshine over the remaining mist and low cloud. Julian Harris flew down from London in his Jabiru and I stayed in his flat for the night. Although we did visit the Cadillac Karaoke bar, I'm relieved to say that there was nobody singing this time!
