Camp Kilawon

Text written in: English

Camp Kilawon is where I was set for my second phase project. My teams job was basically to be the camp maintanence team. We did such projects like Cleaning cabins, painting cabins, chop fire wood, and trail building. On the weekend my team went on trips to Crater Lake, Portland, Eugene, and Seattle. We had some good service learning too. We had Mike Rodregus took us on a stream walk, where we all got to were waders in the stream. We got to go to a Fall City High school forestry teacher's christmas tree farm and take a tour. Lastly wew had Scott Hopkins come from bureau of Land Management come and teach us about Old Growth trees. We had good ISP(Independent service opportunites) also. We went to the dallas Arboretum a couple or times and did work like Planting trees/plants, fixing trails, and pulling unwanted weeds/plants.
Here are pictures and sites from the Camp!
