1. Salar De Uyuni (salt flats) - Bolivia
2. Foz De Iguazzu (water falls) - Brasil
3. Perito Moreno (advancing glacier) - Argentina
4. Villarrica Volcano (active volcano) - Chile
5. Leatherback Turtles laying eggs on beach - Costa Rica (almost SA!)

7. Generally boring and poor food (you really have to search for good food, chicken and rice in North, ham and cheese in the South)

Favourite Country: Peru/Argentina

Worst Country: Ecuador (as I missed the Galapagos and was well sick)

Longest Bus Ride: 29 Hours (Santiago to Arica)

Worst Bus ride: Cuenca to Banos in Ecuador (lepers, stunk, puke, etc)

Best Flight: Punta Arenas to Puerto Montt (with views of Torres Del Paine national park and glaciers)

Best Road Kill: Headless horse in Argentina

Best Meal: Steak in El Patacon (hosted Bill Clinton also), Bariloche, Argentina

Worst Meal: Chicken Balti in an Afghan place in Quito. Giardia!
