After visiting Gerry and Sharron Ann in Naples, we drove up to Tampa, staying in a funky B and B. where the innkeeper regaled us with his very lefty politics, and put us up in the rock and roll room. It was quite a contrast with Gerry's posh digs. The B and B was named after Gram Parsons, a short-lived musician/promoter from the 60's who discovered ( or mentored) Emmy Lou Harriss. There was a blues room, a folk room, and a jazz room in addition to our somewhat tattered little retreat. We loved it and enjoyed meeting him, but neither of us thought the government was secretly making money off the drug trade.
