First of all, everyone here wants to say happy birthday to my sister back home in Toronto, so VERY VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUSAN from Mom, Dad, Catherine and Matt.
Anyway, we got a chance to visit "Otway Fly" today: a walkway built through the treetops. Cat's dad, no fan of heights, gave it a miss, so the three of us spent an hour wandering through the tops of trees, 25 metres off the ground. At one point we were on a tower 47 metres up, and later we were on a cantilevered platform with no supports on the far end (a bit scary, especially with all the shaking in the wind, but very cool). It was a great chance to get a new perspective on the forest!
Next we visited the Triplet Falls, which had only reopened quite recently after vandals had massacred the trees along the access path using chainsaws. The falls were beautiful, so we were glad they had been able to reopen the path.
