Orakei Korako

This is supposed to be the best thermal area in New Zealand, since a volcano destroyed the Pink Terraces in the 1800s. It was kind of expensive, since it takes a boat ride to get there, but it didn't dissapoint. There were a couple of geysers, and a lot of colourful mineral terraces. It was raining while we were there, which made it even better - there was steam coming off all the hot rocks which looked very cool. The only downside was that we left the lights on in the parking lot and had to get a boost from the guy behind the desk.
