Southern Comfort

Text written in: English

We're staying at a place appropriately named Southern Comfort. Great place to stay if you're ever in Invercargill -- but I can't really say that you should go to Invercargill 'cuz it's not that exciting. We did get a chance to see a couple of tuateras in captivity (they're really interesting prehistoric lizards), including one named Henry who's well over 100 years old.

Can you spot the tiny tuatera? Invercargill is one of the few places where these guys have been successfully bred. A very, very fat bumblebee on a flower. Matt looking bemused -- he did eventually manage to get all this stuff in the car. How did we get this much stuff? Henry, the 100-plus-year-old tuatera.
