Rafting the Kaituna

Text written in: English

The Kaituna River has a 7 metre waterfall, the highest in the world that any rafting company goes over. There were a couple of smaller waterfalls too, and the guides made us stand up right before the falls so we could see what we were about to go over. The guides were really good - the played around a lot, ramming the rafts into each other and holding us underneath the falls for a couple of minutes. The trip was pretty exciting, but not as long as we'd hoped for.
