Took a trip down memory lane to Leeds, where I studied when I was a student for 3 years, some 12 years ago. They say this is the UK's favourite city. Really ?

Every single corner was full of some memory from the past, really quite alarming how much suddenly flooded back into my brain from so long ago. It;s true a lot has changed, but it's also true to say it hasn't really changed at all.

I'm sure students don't realise how easy they have it now. All the pubs and bars are clean and decked out very nicely. What happened to the old stained carpets of the The Hyde Park Pub ? Now it looks just like a Wetherspoons'.

Nice to see Harpo's still there - probbaly the best pizza in the whole of the UK.

Also still standing is the Hyde Park Picture House - which I'm sure was going to close down back in 1992 ?!
