Back in the Ireland

Since I have this time off with no job and essentially nothing to worry about (not true), I went over to see some friends in Ireland. First stop was in Dublin. I've been many times before so wasnt going to see tourist attractions or anything like that. Instead went to see the inside of bars! Flew on Ryanair who, despite a small delay, have never really given me much grief in all the years I've travelled on them. Not as much as some people have. What I didnt like though was their new plane, a 737 I think. Yuk. Seats cant move back, there are no magazine racks, the seat back are almost vertical and the seat cushions are rock hard. Its basically a bus in the air. Thank God the flight is only 50 minutes. Des & Christine were doing well - with bambino soon to appear in mid-Nov. With a sense of irony we watched videos from their trip to NZ - with me making mental notes for my forthcoming trip. We went out to a pretty cool place near them, a converted school if I remember correctly ? Dublin is full of dcent places to drink. It doesnt amaze me why my friend are leaving London.
