Arrived in Caraz

Finally, after a 7 hour bone-crunching journey on unpaved roads, with one mechanical breakown and one flat tyre, through what looked like the biggest quarry in the world we arrived in Caraz. A picturesque litle town in teh middle of the Cordilerras in Peru. We checked into our rooms at Pony Expeditions (fantastic!!) and got some information on the local day hikes from the area.

This could be a good stop!
