Oban for 2 nights

Arrived in Oban today and checked into the funniest little hostel you could imagine. It felt like and looked like you were staying at your Grandparents place. Very comfy and friendly and not to mention cheap.

We lashed out tonight and went for dinner at somewhere other than a Tesco or Safeway. We went to Mondo restaurant and it was a huge pig out. Very nice but it cost us the equivalent of $75.00 AUD. Very extravagant for us. We experienced sleet and very high winds today as well. This made it painfully cold thus resulting in new beanies and gloves. The ones we bought from home just weren't cutting the mustard anymore.

Went to the Oban Chocolate Factory today too. I'm not sharing any of it. It's all mine. (diabolical laughter to follow)

The second day we had a walk around and looked at one of the local castles which dated back to the 7th century. Off to Glasgow tomorrow for our last night in Scotland. Boo Hoo
