The 3 day/2 night road-trip came to a screaming halt in sunny Nha Trang.Along the way i'd encountered hundreds of friendly Vietnamese,eaten some fantastic local food,drunk gallons of 333,got the skin flayed off my face by the winds on monday,what was left of the Mammals nose peeled by the burning sun on tuesday.Sat on deserted golden beaches,passed out in a cafe,laughed off a dozen marriage proposals,got peeping-tommed through a slit in the curtains at the Bates Motel and mourned the loss of HST in a shithole town with no booze.Had a run in with the local drunk(hows that for role-reversal)at a backwoods karaoke bar.Laughed that off too...
Got a decent room in Nha Trang and quickly settled into The Regime.
Up at 11.00 for the Morning Motion-now heavily regulated daily by a dozen Emergency Strength immodium capsules.Showering optional.Saunter across the road for Pho noodles and beef soup.Head to beach.Lie on beach until bored/thirsty.Usually 20 minutes.Go to bar-vary surroundings to keep my Attention Deficit Disorder under control and to check on possible nights entertainment.17.00-leave bar and return to the bunker for the Afternoon Nap.Shower and apply slag-bait around 20.00 then go to bar(s).Get pissed.Howl for immediate medevac any time between 03.00 and 07.00 hrs.Return to the bunker.Sleep.Repeat for TBS.
