Comfy, atmospheric and affordable, the Ashanti is one of the best backpackers and guest-houses you'll stay in anywhere, and probably one of the best in South Africa. It's popular so make sure you book well in advance - ideally months - to avoid being moved from room to room. Dorms: R100, singles: R180, en-suite: from R300.
