Ice Bar (Minus 5)

I spent a few days with Dave, Shona, and Bianca who were lovely hosts in their comfortable pad in St. Lukes. I was feeling a bit meh, but was perked up massively by huge quantities of good food, coffee and cake.

On Saturday night, Dave and Shona took out their friend Ellie, visiting from Christchurch and I joined them at 'Minus 5 C', a bar which is made from ice, and serves drinks in little ice cups. As you drink the cocktails, the cup melts a bit and your portion gets smaller. Coats and gloves are provided, so you just bowl up.
