visiting Steve, Mark (from Vienna) and Tuan

I used to work with Steve and Mark when I was working for Deloitte Consulting in Vienna. Poulton-le-Fylde seems pretty nice and peaceful and has a couple of good restaurants.

Time to relax and recharge the batteries.

We made a trip up to the Lakes District - Windermere and Ambleside - and to nearby Blackpool for a night. The area is pretty and Blackpool is not.

Steve knows I love fish, so when I arrived, we had a three course meal - this one was like a southern French bouille-abaisse, which is a bit like a minestrone with fish.
