Eyes Peeled For Nessie

...And then on to Loch Ness where we stopped at Urquhart Castle which is a castle ruins on the banks of Loch Ness. The castle was blown up in 1692 so not much left of it now. After a wander round the ruins we then got on our Loch Ness cruise, which was a short half hour boat trip over Loch Ness where the coach picked us up further up the Loch. Loch Ness is deeper than the North Sea...who knew! Unfortunately I didn't spot the Loch Ness Monster :o(

After our Loch Ness cruise it was on to Inverness where we are staying for the 5 days we are touring the Highlands.
