Twitter meet up and extra drinks

So this afternoon we all headed off to 'Softbelly' which was a pub near to where we were staying which was run by a 'pom' to met a group of local people who use twitter who are meant to give us more ideas on what we can use it for. Very nice the company was running a bar tab for everyone, which I think we used to our best abillity, with both Isla and Romy getting a warning off the barman that they would not last the night, what do they know of us Brits.

The whole event was good and about 15/20 people came to the event and we were able to chat with them and explain what we were here to do, and meet some new faces. After the event finished we then headed off to a local Chinese restaurant to have some food, which casued chaos during the ordering stage but the food when it came was very good, and at $20 a person was not that bad.

After we left the restaurant we headed back to the hotel, then myself and Isla went out for a couple of drinks, which took a while trying to find a place in the CBD (Central Business District), first place was very expensive, then when we tried to get into another bar the doorman asked if we had been drinking, yeah since 4pm it was now about 12am, didn't say this just said yes its a satuarday night what do you think and got told we could not come in.

In the end found a nice old pub which seemed more like a backpackers place and had a couple of drinks there until we realised that it was 3am and might be a good idea to go back to the hotel and get some sleep. Isla had a train to catch at 8.30am and I had to check out by 10am and like to get breakfast if I can help it.
