Trans-Sumatran Highway Pt VI (The last leg)

In the afternoon I got a lift back over to the ferry port which was on the other side of the island from the beach at Iboih, arrived at about 1400 and got my ticket for the ferry back to the mainland which left at 1600. After getting back to Banda Aceh I headed over to the bus terminal where I booked a ticket to Medan for the night bus leaving at 2015 as was not going to be in a rush in Medan.

After went off to have some dinner before I left on the bus, as it was a non-stop bus. This I learnt was to be a bad idea as we arrived at the bus terminal at 0530 in the mrning the next day so I had to hang around in the terminal building until 7am as if I went to a guesthouse they woould want to charge me for that nights use of the room, this confused the hell out of all the taxi drivers who kept coming over to ask if I wanted a taxi.
