Bataks

Today hired some bicycles with a coup;e of Austrilians who I meant and we went explooriing some of the local sights on the island. First to the village of Tomok where is the grave of King Sidabutor who was the first batak king who adopted Christianity, and started to help its influcence in the area (Bataks are all Christians instead of Muslim).

After we went to the village of Ambarita, here are some 300 year old stone chairs where village matters would be discussed and crimanls tried.
