Monkeys

Text written in: English

After exploring Kuta during the morning seeing the main sites, not many. I rented a moped from my losman (accomadation) for the next 8 days so I could explore the island better. In the afternoon I traveled down to the Bukit Peninsula and went to some of the main surf areas.

Also I visited Pura Luhur Ulu Watu which is a Hindu temple perched on the tip of the peninsula. This is very important for the Balinese as it is a temple for the Gods of the sea. It also has a lot of monkeys around which you can feed, or be attacked by. They have a habit of stealing anything they can grab, including hats as I watched happen to one girl.
