Revenge of the Shish

On the bus back from Anzac, somewhere around the 'haven't slept for 30 hours mark' we stopped in the town of Eceabat for food. Because the main restaurant was packed, we decided to go to the one down the road. Hooray, there's no one here! We got the world's dodgiest shish, and consequently, I got to spend the next three days (my birthday included) laid up with some particularly gnarly gastro. In the end I went to the American-Turkish Hospital, which was an exercise in faith, before we bailed back to London. The fact that I was salivating over British food gives you some insight into how disrupted my body was.
