mendoza

Text written in: English

mendoza is known to be the wine capital. they produce a lot of malbec here. so we thought we would go and take a look. we went on a bike-winery tour. hehe. of course it was really badly organised and we couldn't go into the first winery cause it wasn't open then and we had to wait for 45 minutes for the second one. well. but it was quite nice anyway. we also went into a chocolate factory. but i have to admit it wasn't that impressive. but the chocolate was good. he said he was a swiss decendent. :-) hehe. that explains a lot :-) they had a chocolate liquor there as well. very different. haha.

the biking was really nice. just to do some excercise again. after sitting on buses for so much time.

mendoza is supposed to be one of the nicest cities in argentina. but that's in summer. in winter it's not that nice, but you can see what they talk about. right now it's a bit like a nice autumn day back home. the trees are on their way of getting bare, it's sunny, but not warm.

today we went to a park, which was really quite beautiful. with lots of trees and a little lake.

last night we went out partying. it was very nice. even though i'm still not completely into that southamerican music. but we still had a bit of a dance :-)

that's about all. not much excitement at the moment!!

take care

bettina
