we finally reached argentina :-)

yeah. we're in argentina... we've been looking forward to this. because in the end boliva wasn't so nice anymore. the last few villages we were in were not nice. it was very cold, there was nothing to do and so on. and we heard so many good things about argentina. we're in salta now. and wow. it's a very nice city. it's got everything: a theater, a cinema, cafes on the open, heaters in the room, warm showers. yes. it's all good :-)

the journey here wasn't so easy though. after we left tupiza we had to cross the boarder by foot and then catch a bus. the bus in argentina was nicer as the old, shitty ones we used in bolivia. but then again, the bus stopped like 3 times for controls. i don't know what they were looking for but at some point we had to get out of the bus into the freezing cold. line up in a hut and show our passports to some controls. never found out what that was for. anyway. we did arrive in salta and found a place to stay. cause the first one that was in the lonely planet, didn't exist anymore. haha... well. the other hostel is good.

and tonight we'll cook something ourselves for the first time in 2 months or so. wow. that's gonna be exciting. haha. i guess it'll be just pasta, but still.

oh, and last  night we hit the night clubs here. it was a saturday night so everyone was out. brilliant. we found a really nice club and danced till the morning. there were loads of argentinians out as well. which was a good change to seeing only tourist. hehe. and yes, they are a lot more beautiful than the peruvians and bolivians. so that's alright :-)

tonight we're meeting up with another friend that we met before. that should be fun, too.
