Bula!

It's everything we ever thought it would be...

After a thankfully uneventful morning and flight (the first one that's actually been on time!), you'll be pleased to know we're both safe and well in Nadi. Or you may be sick with jealousy. Because, frankly, you should be.

The views from the plane were just incredible, all rolling hills and things. We were surprised by how green and normal it looked. We were ushered through the airport by helpful, smiling Fijians, all determined to make sure we went to the right place. Our taxi driver was hilarious and very talkative - it cost us $6 for a 20 minute journey, which is about GBP2! Ridiculous.

Our 'hostel' is AMAZING. It's like a little tropical village, with a gorgeous swimming pool and an exotic bar. The barman was a bit clueless and didn't seem to understand why we didn't want to drink cocktails constantly and that we wanted to pay for our drinks! It's so laid back and happy. We're very laid back and happy.

There was a bit of a rainstorm as we flew in, but our taxi driver informed us that that should be it now, so the forecast for our tropical island looks fantastic!
