Nearly hit an elephant and missed the boat

The bus to Ranong nearly hit an elephant crossing the road - not something you see everyday.

Arrived at Ranong and started the haggling with the taxi drivers for the short journey to the pier to catch the boat to Koh Phayam. Arrived at the pier but the 9:30 boat was full, so am now waiting for the 2pm boat. Nothing here except for a shop with internet. Oh, and a Karaoke machine outside, which one of the locals has just demonstrated for us.

So, I'm gonna put some lotion on and go and catch some rays while waiting for the next boat.
