Oamaru - penguin central!

I caught the early bus to Oamaru this morning to give myself a whole day here to seethe penguins. There are little blue penguins and yellow eyed penguins living in colonies here, each in their own wee bay. So I get here early to find out that the best time to go and see them is at night. Its a really nice hostel though and only 2 people staying here at the moment so the owner, Agra, took us on a whirlwind tour of the town and into the old Whisky distillery, art galleries etc and showed us where we could go and see the penguins later for free.
