La home of the rich and famous (and us)

3rd December

 We got the Greyhound to La it dropped us in Hollywood and not the nice part even a taxi driver told us we were in the wrong end of the city but we were brave and searched for the Bus which was an adventure in its self with crazy people rambling about breathing in other peoples aids and such you know frieldy banter on the bus.

 We were staying in Santa Monica in the Hi Hostel a street away from Venice Beach or Heaven as I now think of it.  When we arrived we strolled down the beach in the mega hot sunshine then hired roller blades and I took to it like a duck to water ha ha I only fell once.

The following day we went to Hollywood baby everone who comes to Hollywood had a dream quote from Pretty Women and we seen every sight from the film we seen the shop she was turned away from on Rodeo Drive and the Hotel she stayed at and even the stair case Richard Gere gets her from at the end it was great.  We went on a tour of the stars homes we seen J-lo's, a bit of the Playboy Mansion which excited me no end, posh and becks, Kate and Tom and many more we also saw the place Marylin Monroe and JFK would go when they were having an affair.  We then did the walk fo fame and see all the stars then seen their hand prints outside the Chinese Theatre I put my hab=nds in Marylin Monroes hand print it was awesome.

 Again no pics of this just now unfortunately !!!

Our last day and we spent it at the beach Suz walked the Beaxh and I roller Bladed for about five hours it really was amazing and the beach was gorgeous and it was so Sunny it made me realise just how lucky I am to have this chance of a life time.

Now off for a 14 hour flight to OZ yipee
