Hollywood

Took the bus from our hostel to Hollywood. Did a tour of Hollywood and surrouding areas. The tour took us through Beverly hills where we saw celebrity homes including J-Lo, The Osbournes, Sean Connery, Frank Sinatras last home, Posh & Becks house etc. We got to see the house where the Bodyguard film was made. We were not allowed in the house but we were allowed to walk around the gardens. It was lovely. After the tour of the homes the tour took us to Sunset Boulevard. This has cafes, restaurants, shops and pubs. This is where all the celebs are spotted. We saw the cafe where Happy Days was filmed. I kept scanning the street hoping to see a celeb but did not see any. It was very disappointing.

We then went to Rodeo drive and walked around for a while. We saw the shop where Julie Robersts goes into in Pretty Woman when she is trying to buy clothes. We also saw the hotel from Pretty Woman where they stay in.

After the tour we walked the Hollywood walk of fame, saw the Hollywood sign and went to the Grauman's chinese theatre to see the hand and foot prints of all celebrities.

We spent the next day at Santa Monica & Venice Beach and then headed to the airport to fly to Oz.
