Back to the big smoke....

Text written in: English

Tuesday we caught the 11 hour overnight bus from Salta to Cordoba (Argentinas´second city, named, I believe, after the Volkswagen car of the same name), arriving at 7am. It was still dark, and stiflingly hot. A quick taxi to the hostel later, and we had formulated a plan for the remaining 2 weeks of our holiday. We are going to fly from Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazu and back, rather than taking another overnight bus of 20+ hours in each direction. It makes sense since time is short enough for us.

So from here in Cordoba we will head to Buenos Aires, probably over to Colonia in Uruagay for one night, then up to Iguazu for 3 nights before spending the remaining week or so in Buenos Aires, catching up with Seamus, doing some shopping and gorging on more wine and steak for a final time, as well of course as topping up the ould tan if possible.

Tomorrow we´re looking to go to a nearby town, Alta Garcia, the birthplace of Che Guevara before grabbing our last overnight bus to Buenos Aires, which we will use as a base to leave most of our luggage and travel light to Colonia and Iguazu.
