Summer time and the living is easy...

What bliss to arrive off the plane at 8am to 25 degrees. So lovely.

After queuing for over an hour to get through the crazy Australian Customs and Quarantine, we hopped into a taxi and made it to our apartment in Chinatown - very close to Sydney central and right beside the train. We're sharing with a couple of friends of Rachels' from BOI and another Irish girl who is currently living in Perth. Jet lag wasn't such an issue this time, the flight being a mere 9 hours, but what tiredness we did experience was quickly erradicated with an iced coffee in the sun at Darling Harbour Cool.

We haven't done a lot since our arrival on Tuesday - plenty of drinks with Rachel and her friends that night and some shopping, visiting friends, and sitting around in the sun has been about the height of it. We have the wedding rehersal tonight followed by a BBQ in Rach's sister-in-law-to-be's house. Hope there are some 'roo steaks on the menu!
