Barely knew we were sailing - great night very calm.  Awoke to blue skies and a sunny mild day, we were in the Port of Portaferrao on Elba.  We had to go to shore via a Tender.

We took a tour of the island and did heaps of walking.  Very steep paths however the views were worth it.

Visited some Roman Ruins and had a good look through Napolean's house.  The landscape is not dissimilar to home - very dry.

Tonight is meet the Captain so it was the chance to frock up.  There was free grog so of course we were going to go.  After all isn't that what all we good Aussies do turn up to a do when there is free grog??  Had the obligatory photo - probably will cost the earth but hey of course we will buy it!

Went to dinner and had been able to have it arranged that we end up on the table with our friends we made from the hotel.  We are right next to the Captain's table.  Peter one of our new friends is determined to get himself invited on to the Captain's table. 

So exhausted after our tour today went to bed straight after dinner.
