29 September 07

Did little Arab Street and bought some lovely scarves and pashminas.  Then went to Bugis St and had a nice time wandering around the mall.  River Cruise was delightful.  Happy hour back in the room was even better!

Went on Night Safari, next to the zoo.  What a wonderful experience.  Didn't get eaten by lions and tigers so that was an added bonus. 

30 September

Leisurely stroll around Botannical Gardens and Orchid gardens.  Jo and I were much reminded of our own lovely gardens at home - not!

Bus drive around the city for one last look and then back to our room to attempt to pack - what a scary task!  Somehow it is all going to fit - but what about the weight?

 Have to go now as it is happy hour - and can't keep the locals waiting :)  Tonight we leave for Rome...
