My feet were killing me from fire ants. ankle twists, and mosquito bites. The crazy amount of rain on Friday morning led me to head south down the coast into Florida. I wanted to go to St. Augustine, which is probably going to end up being the most southern point that I will visit.

I have points from Hyatt that I accrued from all my hotel stays this past year. I called them up and turns out they have a Hyatt right down town on the river in Jacksonville and they had vacancy for a stay using my points for free. I have never been to Jacksonville so I decided to give it an inspection. I stayed Friday and Saturday nights catching up on some Internet needs and resting my very very tired feet.

Jacksonville's riverfront has a well-developed river walk with a landing that has lots of bars and restaurants. There are other clubs just one street over. The city is pretty at night and the bridges are lit up. I didn't get crazy because I needed to rest my feet and I didn't want to spend too much money.

Looks like I will be in Atlanta, GA on Tuesday night because all day Wednesday and Thursday. After that I will head home....
