Charleston for one night

Text written in: English

Edisto was cool!

We had a great beach day yesterday. After enjoying the beach and eating lunch we had to go back to Charleston, SC. Brendan is leaving because some stuff came up with our work. He got called out which is a good thing for him but that now means I’m ridin’ solo.

We packed up and came to Charleston. He took a flight out this morning. We stayed at a hotel last night so that he could get all his gear together ant pack up his stuff for the airport. It was a happy accident that we stayed in a hotel because it just so happened that it rained so hard last night that we would have been completely water logged today had we camped it.

We planned on going out last night but after waiting 30 minutes for a taxi in a hard rain we decided fate was sending us a message. Instead of going out on the town we watched TV and ordered a pizza. I’ve been out in Charleston. It’s a fun place so if you ever come here you should go out. It just wasn’t our best option considering the circumstances.

Brendan has now been dropped off at the airport and will probably be boarding a plane bound for Knoxville in the next few minutes. I am going to pack up and head to the Savannah, GA area. There is an island near there that I want to spend some time relaxing if the rain will go away. Maybe even fish off a pier.

I have my cell phone on though  I may not answer. If you want to contact me you can.

Peace in the Middle East,

Drew
