We took the long drive to Paihia and checked into a holiday home type of place with another couple Ben & Lauren from the US. This place was great. Pahia has a lovely beach and we relazed there the first day. We had a bbq + beers in the house that evening with the guys.

On Wednesday we took the ferry over to Russell island. Spent another day chilling out at long beach.

On Thursday we went on "Shes a lad" boat sailing cruise. Great day at sea, seen how Glen works the sails. Spotted some dolphins and Penguins. Stopped at Sting Ray Beach. Walked to the top of the hill for a 360 degree viewpoint. Snorkeled, kayaked and swam in the clean waters at the beach here.
