We caught the afternoon ferry from Picton to Wellington. We stayed in Rowenas Lodge which was possibly the worst hostel in NZ for us. It was smelly, overcrowded and had small rooms.

On Thursday we visited a couple of Musuems and wandered around the city. Not much happening mid-week in Wellington.
