Ok guys I've a confession to make. I think I have lost my memory stick with the photos for the next few blog entries so it's gonna be quite boring with no photos. I'll just put in briefly what we did in each place. . .

We drove 6 hours to Christchurch and settled into the Excellier backpackers on Manchester Street. Good buzz around the city. 

On Saturday we went to the Antartic Center (recommended), the local beach and had a few drinks in an Irish bar in town where we met a few locals.

On Sunday we lazed around the hostel, went to see CC museum and the Botonic Gardens.
