Shenzhen, China

Finally get to see where my brother lives and works. We arrived in Shenzhen around 4pm just in time for dinner. My uncle took us to the hotel which is very nice. Then he took us to this seafood restaurant where we got to pick out what we want just like at the market. This restaurant is so big that my cousin got lost wandering around inside. After dinner we went to see my brother's place. It's a nice little apartment with one bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The bathrooms in China is very different then what I'm used to in the states. The shower is right next to the toilet. There's no curtain, tub, or anything that designates which space is for showering. When you shower the whole bathroom gets wet. Luckily the hotel is different!

The bridges and the areas next to the roads are covered with bushes and flowers. It is up kept by manual labor. We saw people trimming the bushes, trees, and flowers by hand. The tools aren't even electronic ones! Here's inside the restaurant where we pick out what we want to eat. These chefs here waits for consumers to ask about the dishes. Here's some of the seafood availiable. You select the food and tell them how you want it cooked. These are roasted ducks, chickens, and such. This is a huge abalone. These fishes in the tank aren't just for decoration. It is part of the seafood selection for cooking. Chinese people don't waste any part of the duck. You can see here the different parts of the duck displayed here.
