Back to the same hotel the trek started from. Capetown is in a fog and drizzing just like it was the first day. Visted the waterfront and walked about, feels like I am in Vancouver in March.
Feel sad in a way that it is over, but it has been a wonderful experience and doing it in a tent and bus made it that much more real.
Went out for a final dinner, enjoyed African food and cheap but superb South African wines (under #20 a bottle, had some the other night for $4 per bottle). The fellowship of the group was special, I know each of us grew from our confinement.
Bought a new camera and got some African artifacts. My bag is getting heavy and the laundry is growing.
Ready for a restful 5 or six days on the beaches of Zanzibar before on the next leg of the pilgrimage. Will see some serious animals in Kenya and Tanzania from what I hear.
