More of the Villa

After taking a nap, we wandered the grounds taking pictures.  There are a lot of little hidden spots... paths leading off into little meditative areas.  In the end I didn't take advantage of these areas as much as I should have, but they were certainly neat to see and explore.

After our explorations, we returned to the apartment to enjoy Alessandra's welcome dinner, which was spectacular.  There were appetizers of bruschetta and another spread (maybe pesto?) on bread, primi (first course) of crepes with ham, cheese, peas, and tomatoes, secondi (second course) of roasted potatoes and pork (made into some sort of loaf with pistachios - yummy!) and dessert of chocolate cake with orange marmalade.
