Temples of Angkor

They say you can't miss sunrise so we opted to leave the guest house at 5am and organised a tuk tuk for the day to take us round.  No lye-ins for travelers I tell ya!  We made it to the temples for sunrise and it was stunning.  I tired to ignore the fact that there were at least 500 other people there.  Dean and I took ourselves around the main temple before grabbing some breakfast.  Again, everyone hounds you to eat at their restaurant.  A young man claimed us first as he'd asked us first.. he began arguing with the other owners and we agreed to go with him to avoid it getting ugly (I believe it would have).  Throughout our breakfast we were approched by so many locals selling postcards and scarves.  I didn't really mind, but it got a bit of a joke when you can't even eat as you're constantly saying no to people. Our driver, Von, then took us to several other beautiful temples and we spent hours wandering through them.  It was then for the piece de resistance as we walked to the Ta Prohm Temple which had trees growing through, beside and ontop of the temple ruins.  It is stunning, and Dean and I were lucky enough to catch it at a quieter time so could enjoy the peacfulness without the snapping of cameras and bustling noise of hungry tourists.
