Celeb Watch

This morning I decided to really get myself into LA culture and went for a run along Venice Beach.. it is exactly like it is in the movies.. I could hardly make my way through all the roller bladers! Also every 500 yards there was some sort of mass fitness or yoga class happening on the beach.

After heading back to the hostel and grabbing a shower I went on one of those cringe-worthy tours where they take you to all the celeb's houses (I hate to admit I actually enjoyed it). I saw the abodes of Bill Cosby, Robert De Niro, Nicole Kidman, Jack Nicholson, Richard Gere, Tom Hanks, Sly Stallone and Kurt Russell .. to name but a few! Aside from that we did go to some good tourist spots - Hollywood walk of fame, Rodeo Drive, The Hollywood sign, the Chinese Theatre and others. It was a great day.. but all that site-seeing has worn me out so I think i'm in for an early night. The hostel i'm staying in is very chilled out.. not alcohol is allowed in the premises, which is actually really refreshing.. I slept like a baby last night.. and now I can really appreciate it!
